"I spoke with Becky today about my policy price going up. She was incredibly helpful and kind. She was very, very empathetic about the price increase and checked everything she could to see if we could get the price back down. Unfortunately she was unable to but explained very thoroughly why the price jumped. Unfortunately she is the most competent person I have spoken to at this office. She also confirmed that they have record of me requesting ride share coverage multiple times and it was never added. I only selected State Farm because no one cheaper offered ride share coverage. From the very first call with the agent I voiced the request for the coverage as I drive for Lyft. I have spoken to other agents as when I dug deeper into my coverage found I didn’t have ride share, and still it was not added. Becky could see that in my record and was very apologetic and professional that it was never added. Unfortunately I can’t really afford the ride share coverage, as my normal policy is astronomical as is with a completely clean driving record and no at fault accidents in my lifetime, and it is not really necessary I have learned, so I will be likely changing companies. The 5 star review is for Becky, she was AMAZING and deserves recognition for her service. 5 stars would not be my rating for the company over all. We discussed recent rate increases and while I still don’t like them, she talked openly about them and gave us a better understanding of the reasoning behind them.
